Here is the Itenerary for our Anniversary Funrun: (Please feel free to comment or give suggestions. Thank you.)

7:00 a.m. = Meeting place at the Caltex Parking near Sta. Rosa Exit
(car numbers will be distributed there and short briefing)

8:00 a.m. = Leave Caltex

8:45 a.m. = Stop-over Summit Ridge
(For those living in Cavite and Tagaytay area, this will be the meeting point for them)

9:00 a.m. = Leave Summit Ridge

10:30 a.m. = Arrival at the resort

10:30 - 11:30 a.m. = Settle down and set-up/preparation for lunch.

12:00-12:30 p.m. = Lunch Time (short speeches and welcoming remarks)

1:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. = Free time for swimming and water activities

4:30 p.m. = Departure from the resort

*** FOOD will be POTLUCK and ENTRANCE FEE of 180.00 pesos EACH (babies - no entrance fee) will be
shouldered by the members.

Last May 29, 2010, SFCP had its first anniversary grand EB at Lake Caliraya. We had one whole day of fun and bonding with the growing SFCP Family! Lots of activities were lined up such as boating, fishing, swimming, windsurfing, jet-skiing etc. and of course eating and more eating!

2010 Hyundai Santa Fe

Hyundai Asia Resources, Inc., the Philippines’ fourth largest car distributor in terms of sales, has released the refreshed and upgraded Hyundai Santa Fe in the local market.

The 2010 Hyundai Santa Fe, a midsize crossover sport-utility vehicle, gets a much-needed facelift, evident with its more aggressive front fascia thanks to the chrome-lined, three-slatted body-colored radiator grille and the new front fog lamp housings in the new front bumper.

Out back, the predominantly red taillights have been replaced by a red-and-white affair while the muffler tips are now angular, replacing the old oval pair. Also new are the rear bumpers, the five-spoke split alloy wheels and the streamlined roof rail.

Four-wheel-drive variants of the Hyundai Santa Fe also get supple all-black leather seats, dual zone full-auto airconditioning system with a new ionizer to help eliminate bad odors in the cabin.

September 26, 2009 — The entire world will remember this day as that time in history when Tropical Storm Ondoy (Ketsana, as its international name) hit Philippine shores — Catastrophic day. Extreme weather conditions. Lots of people abandoned in destitute.

But to most Filipinos, it’ll be memorialized as the day when what seem to be 6 hours of heavy rainfall caused massive hysteria, national alert, and in worst cases, preposterous death.

Even members of our own group experienced the beating. Here are some pictures of affected Santa Fe.

Days after Ondoy’s wrath, some residents especially those in NCR and nearby provinces, were left homeless and in tribulation.

Being concerned citizens who were auspicious enough not to experience the same level of incredulous and unbearable fate, SFCP extended efforts in aid of our fellow countrymen.

Our little online community solicited help from its members to provide basic necessities and donated items that could be of importance.

We know that we can’t bring back what has been lost but we are hoping that in our own little way, we are able to help the victims in these unfathomable circumstances.
