Due to the immediate demands of the club activities to move forward, and due to the unfortunate outcome of the elections, it has been decided that club officers will be appointed for the meantime.

We sincerely hope that through several EB’s and Get-Together’s we can get to know each other much better so that we can have a proper elections later on.

Careful selection has been made based on the members skill and dedication.

So it has been decided that:

Club President: Anna D.M. aka “LadyRider”
Club Vice President: Allan T. aka “Sylar”
Club Secretary/Treasurer: Sherwin G. aka “Tidus1203″

If you do have any comments, suggestion, or violent reactions please PM me ASAP.

Thank you for your understanding.

More power to the Hyundai Santa Fe Club Philippines!

The Hyundai Santa Fe Club of the Philippines (HSFCP) would like to greet you and your family a happy lenten season.  Its the time of the year again were we reflect on ourselves, renew your relationship with the Creator, bond with your family and friends, and for some of us take the opportunity to see the great outdoors.

For those who will go on a long trip (hopefully with a Santa Fe) here are some tips…

1. Check your engine oil levels.  Make sure they are adequate for the trip ahead.  Also check the other fluids like engine coolant, brake fluid, transmission fluid if they are adequate for the trip ahead.  Also make sure your tire pressure is correct (30 psi for our Santa Fe) before leaving for the trip.

2. If your car is near a PMS schedule you might want to do it ahead of time.  A car is much more fun to drive on a long trip right after a refreshing maintenance.

3. Bring lots of water during the trip to keep yourself cool and hydrated.  Our Santa Fe has a coolbox, finally we can use it!

4. Make sure your cellphone is fully charge.  Bring extra batteries just in case and make sure you have the important numbers in your phonebook like emergency towing and Motolite :D

5. Bring lots of tunes.  If you have the newer Santa Fe (post August 2008 model) make sure you stuff your iPod with a lot of songs.  Its a long trip!

6. If you bring kids with you, make sure their PSP or Nintendo DS is fully charged so they won’t bother you during the trip.

7. Make sure you have prepared the cash needed to pay for the toll fees along the way.  If possible prepare for exact amounts to avoid the possible hassle of the booth not having change.

8. Bring a map.  Its always good to be prepared for the unexpected.

9. Bring a first aid kit!   Again its always good to be prepared.

10.  Most important of all.  ENJOY!  Don’t let the other drivers get into you.  Stay cool and just relax.  Make it your holiday and not someone else’s…

And oh, don’t forget to post your adventures in the forums.  Our fellow Santa Feyers would surely love to hear your story!  Stay safe!
