update about my IB:

tama nga po pag tapak palang ng pedal medyo lunod po siya tsk3x! i think i need to change the settings but napansin ko din lumakas sa diesel not unlike before na wala pang IB tipid pa niya and bagal mag respond wwaaahhh....or else sayang lang yung IB ko tsk3x! benta ko na lang kaya hehehe Tongue
ano setting mo DG?

same setting lang po wala pa po adjust sa setting nung binili ko

Yiipeee!!! I think I finally got it! I adjusted the IB this morning on the way to manila, initially fully counter clockwise then turn back a few mm. Its good at acceleration but the tach again hovers at 3000rpm and the shifting pattern is weird. on several occasion during overtaking, she downshifted but hover to 3000rpm only drastically reducing speed causing failed overtake. F/C wise tumipid. nakarating ako ng manila on 300 pesos worth of diesel! hehehehehe. Adjusted POT again while at AER, to 1-2mm counterclokwise from midway. Then on the way way home. DAMN!!! accelerates like bat out of hell shifts down instantly on kick down, revs to 4200rpm. best part. I used 200pesos worth of Gas from magallanes to lipa, How did I know? low fuel indicator lighted while in makati, refueled 200php, ran at SLEX average speed 140kph with short burst of 160-170, At STAR tollway, while cruising at 120 to save fuel, I was verrry slooowly overtaking a white xtrail, but after a few seconds he gunned the engine and took off like a spear, cant let that pass, kicked the the pedal, she down shifted saw the rpm to 4200rpm, passed the Xtrail in a heartbeat speedo clocks at 190+kph! Xtrail gave up, probably noticed how fast I passed him with no effort. The low fuel light turned at Lipa exit, whew!! Made it!!
BTW my observations are purely subjective, The only way we can have actual and accurate data is via dyno of course.

I believe the FC is lower because your previous setting has up to 3000RPMs to play with. hence the lower FC. but, i think. if this weird shifting pattern occurs. you may end up with a P0700 check engine light. but, since you have changed the POT meter. i think that. thatproblem will no longer occur.

yup si cha nga po nag install pero hndi niya pa na adjust kasi hndi ko pa po na try ung IB pero now need na po i-adjust hehehe but i dnt hve any idea to do that  Grin

kayang kaya mo yan DG, accessible naman siguro yung butas ng pot sa IB mo. Look for precision flat screw driver and twist counterclockwise lang. Check mo lang yung drawing na post ko above about the pot position. DIY mo lang DG at may kakaibang accomplishment yan after mo magawa Okay

I made my adjustment from 4 o clock position as max setting, now down to 9 o clock position, i noticed that my fuel consumption has returned to normal or it may have improved a bit, the power is still there but you dont feel it as much. I tried 180 kph in SLEX. Noticed no lag or delay in the upshift>

I made my adjustment from 4 o clock position as max setting, now down to 9 o clock position, i noticed that my fuel consumption has returned to normal or it may have improved a bit, the power is still there but you dont feel it as much. I tried 180 kph in SLEX. Noticed no lag or delay in the upshift>

I smoked a Fort 3.0 @ 9:30 setting. One thing I noticed, the engine vibration seems quieter. During my test on a provincial trip, nag open ang minibus driver ng left side door nya, while he was looking up inside the bus. I was already in front of him like a thief -about 3 meters from his door dahil nakaharang sya sa daan. He was surprised when he shut back the door (siguro iihe sa tabi yong driver) that a vehicle is already so close to his door yet he didn't hear anything. Sabi pa sa akin, sensya na po brad, wala akong narinig. Ang lapit mo na pala.
